Sub zero system question

PA Sub zero system question

I would like to know if removing the sub zero system will make the car run better, exacly what does it do and how do i remove it.

supposedly it was supposed to be taken off by dealers but many cars still have them, the purpose of the system was to inject a mix of antifreeze into the engine to up the compression and help on cold starts.

There was a technical service bulletin to remove it.. It shots a lil antifreeze into the intake manifold when cold temps. It not hard to take out. And won't affect how the car runs.

just fill the tank with methanol and wire the pump to a boost activated switch. i do it all the time.

yeah there supposed to be removed and in the manual it says hold gas pedal on cold starts lol.

Does this give extra power? I got a N/A .. Can you use windsheild wiper fuild it has methanol in it.

do you need block off plates as well ? i was wondering for a long time how it never got empty for 22 years XD lol .

I made a lil block off plate on mine .. I've also seen leaveing on the lil nozzle thing on the upper intake mani and just putting a cap on it.

Yep and the lil nozzle thing on the upper intake manifold.. Or u could leave that and put and vac line cap on it... or make a lil block off plate.
