sub-zero cold starter

I was reading search pages which talked about removing the sub-zero starting assist which injects coolant/water into engine to increase compression.

Anyone know where there is a page showing what/how to remove it so that everything works the way it should?

Are there any negative effects of this mod?

Thanks
Jeff

No negative effects.. There's a TSB out that tells the dealership that if a car comes in with a problem, to just rip it out anyway..

Here's what to do:

Pull all the hoses off the tank.. Follow the one to where it meets the extention manifold. Unbolt the injector from the manifold. You'll see two little holes you want to cover.. JB-weld will work fine, but be sure to let it cure. Or, you can make a blockoff plate. Be careful with the JB weld, as it will "flow" when it isn't cured.

Yank out the tank.. Pretty much, just pull really really hard. Then throw it very far.
