Sub Box

I did post this in the audio section and received no reply and I did search for this.

I want build a sub box to replace the plastic part under the carpet in the cargo area where the 2+2 seats would be if it was a 2+2 car. This makes it so only the cones are seen and doesn't make the cargo area smaller. I have seen it on other FCs. Does anyone have dimensions to build this?

your best bet for custom stuff like that is to get in there with a measuring tape and go from there. The reason no one posted in the car audio section under you is because the figured it was for nothing. If you cant get in there with a tape measure and simply write down dimensions, how in jesuses ***** are you gonna be able to use power tools to actually cut the wood.

Yeah, you're best bet would be to pull the carpet out of the back and remove the bins and their housing things and just take measurements of the depths and widths and figure out some crazy way to build a box shaped like a bra... Good luck

fiberglass ftw cover the bins in tape/wax, lay down some glass, bam, instant box you can remove and re-enforce, etc

I would also recommend a flat piston subwoofer. . . They have no cone and are much shorter, big sound, little space. They are actually more accurate that cone subwoofers.
