stuttering on decel.

my car gets jerky under deceleration in gear under 2k rpm. what could the problem be?
could it be my tps?

I would be willing to bet that your TPS is slightly off, or your throttle cable is sticking slightly so the throttle does not close all the way.

slightly off? how would i go about adjusting it? or should i just replace it?

My current FC did that when I first got it. It was a atx->mtx swap when they left the inhibitor switch still in(and set to park so the car would start). The car wasnt fuel cutting while coasting in gear and it did buck badly under 2k. I am sure that is not your problem but I found(since I have fixed it) this symptom is re creatable with the TPS out of adjustment like everyone else said.
