yeah...the other day when it was running like crap it had compression...i didnt have my tester at the time...but i could hear 6 even strong whooshes...and now i only hear 4 with a big space in between...so seem to be missing 2 faces...thats 2 motors in less than 2 months for me...im done with rx7's for a while

Spray wd40 in the connector on the MAF, then try it.. If not try regrounding the motor and ecu. If that doesn't work check your thermosensor and make sure it is hooked up..

sigh.. I'm going to go do a compression test in a few and see if mine is okay .. the last time you drove it did it get all jerky.. like bounce from 500 to 2000 rpm for no apparent reason?

I pulled my leadig plug on each rotor and turned it over with my inj fuse out I got a steady beat out of it , so I think my compression is pretty good . thank god what I did notice that was wierd was that my temp gauge didnt move at all really even after it dropped rpm down to 750 but the gauge still was stuck at cold and now that I think about it it was running pretty good when it was cold say 0-10 degrees celcius but now it has been pretty nice , it was cold today though and it fired and ran fine ... sigh is there a test to tell if the water temp sensor is shot?
