Pull up the ebrake, open the latches and turn the ****, above the wipers, counterclockwise. The key has to be in the on position, but the car doesnt have to be running.

and you have to hold the switch, there is a touch of a delay in each direction, and a stop point in the middle of travel.

I bought my vert with a "non-working" top, but turns out that the wires were unplugged and the left arm unbolted from the motor. What the hell.

Stick must be in Neutral and the E-brake must be pulled. Otherwise it won't work.
