GA Stupid TPS adjustment question

Ok, putting on the flame suit and waiting for ppl to tell me to use the search button.

So I've done my TPS adjustment using the 2 light method, and I've noticed I still have a bit of a "stutter" on my 89 TII when I just barely touch the throttle. I think it may be because when I adjusted the TPS, I turned the adjustment screw until I had 2 lights, then backed off just enough to only have 1 light once the engine was fully warm. I "blipped" the throttle a few times to make sure it kept one light every time. Should I go about this the other way and adjust from no lights to just enough to turn on one light? Thank you very much ahead of time, and sorry for yet another newbish question.

I've never used lights, I'm currently using resistance to test mine...I don't know if this will be helpful at all but here is my thread on TPS

I'd actually typed this up after reading your thread, but it's still appreciated.

This is one reason - why I like to use the Voltage Specs and adjust the TPS to them. The 2 Light Method does not seem to address this clearly. When using the Voltage or Resistance Method and a meter it is obvious which direction to turn the screw and how far or how close you are to the specified FSM design point.

Use voltage specs, its accurate and takes two minutes.
