Stupid Question for a Stupid Problem
Hey, I went to install a kill switch in the seven today and pulled the harness, cut the middle black and white wire, installed the switch, and finished it up but when I flip the switch the car dies instantly, doesn't kill the fuel pump... Did I fudge something up here? How hard can this be really? Any Help or another go around about what I sould do?
Are you flipping it to off, lol? Obviously if the car's running, the switch is on, which means when you flip it, it's off...
You blowing any fuses or anything crazy like that? Like headlights popping up when key is held to start? Or wiper washer fluid coming on when you turn on the radio?

Na, that is about the only thing that has worked right so far, now what I need to figure out is why it kills the car with my kill switch, not just the fuel pump. Hey Wayne88, wanna trade?
Umm, maybe I'm missing something here, but if you kill the pump, the car will die soon thereafter...
Or are you talking about the ENTIRE car dying, i.e. all electrical systems, etc....

Yea the entire car dies, not from a lack of fuel, cmon, I may be new here but Im not that stupid
Yea the entire car dies, I think the wire I cut was the ground and when I did it in turn kills the circut or something. should the wire you cut have like six place for a wire with only one in the middle bank and should the wire be black with a white stripe and a little red? What am I doing wrong?
