stupid question, hood latch broke, came undone or something.

Well I changed my oil, fixed some ducting issues with my oil cooler and did a few other things under the hood, closed the hood, and washed the car. I then took the car for a drive and came back and went to open the hood and found that my hood latch puller had no resistance at all, so I thought maybe I just didn't close the hood all the way. Well I went to manually open the hood and it is definatley latched so now I can't get under the hood witch is a very bad thing for me Anyways just wondering if anyone had any tricks etc... to getting this bad boy unlatched? nothing with the latch puller in the cabin will work I've tried everything so I'm going to have to try something else. Any ideas? Thanks.

The cable snapped. Youll have to figure out a way to pop the hood from the front manually. If I had a rx7 laying around Id go look and see if there was any easy method.... but I dont. Good luck.

One day this is going to happen on my sonoma. I can see the wire fraying already
