stupid question
when you turbo or supercharge your motor, you're creating a positive pressure in the intake, right?
ok, if that's true, would a vaccum leak, then become a pressure leak?
would air then blow out of an other wise would be vaccum line, rather be air being sucked in?
i know the block is sucking air when it runs, but i'm wondering if having a positive pressure would reverse the intake charge?

ok, i've got an s5 na, and i'm putting a paxton 1220 blower on it. now there are certian things on the car that work of vaccum and vaccum lines like the throttle bodu dashpot, the brake booster....things like that. they have vaccum lines attached to them
so..
when i install the blower, wont those things no longer work? wouldnt they be pushed shut, in stead of operating when they're suposed to?

All brake boosters have a check valve. Go into boost and it retains vacuum.
Throttle body dashpot and the word vacuum ..............there's a misnomer there somewhere. We have a dashpot that has no vacuum lines to it at all. We have a double throttle diaphram that is vacuum actuated but only when the water is cold. When no vacuum is applied to it, it spring loads the outer set of secondary plates full open.
In other words..........stop worrying. Put the thing on the enigne.
