Stumped??? Coolant temp sensor?
From what i was told the thermostat housing on my NA 13B came off a T2. Did the NA and T2 come with different temp sensors? Reason I ask is because with the temp sensor on my car I ended up breaking it. There was a hose attached to it that i needed to remove and the past owner put some sort of glue to seal it. Right beside that sensor is another sensor I got from another NA FC(picture). This sensor has a plug though not a hose like what was on my car. Also i took a picture of my harness can anyone tell me which plugs into the coolant temp sensor(I honestly don't remember seeing a loose plug)? In the picture that shows the two sensors the hose coming from one of them is the hose that was attached to it. If I remember correctly the end of that hose went to the the bottom of the intake manifold(the one that says 13B on it).
I hope my description isn't to confusing. I can be more specific if I need too and take more pictures.
I was thinking the greyish yellow plug nearest the zip tie was the one that connects to the temp sensor. I already tried plugging it in and it fits but I'd rather make sure.

Yes. The green (greyish) is the plug for the water thermo sensor.
That is a Turbo water pump housing.
I guess I need to go look under my hood more often. Seems there should be a nipple on the back of the water pump housing for the water return line from the attachment on the side of the BAC.
I've NO idea what the hose with fitting is in the picture.
I said it's a turbo water pump housing because at the bottom outlet there is a small nipple that is the return for the turbo's water outlet.

It seems your missing the inlet nipple shown in the attached jpg. I THINK it's pressed in, but you could tap threads and put in ?????? the equiv of the stock nipple.
If you bought that housing, then I hope you got a good discount on it.

Actually I didn't buy the housing at all. It was already on my engine when I bought the car. The extra ports for the turbo was blocked off with a rubber cap. What does that inlet nipple directly below the temp sensor go to?
I guess I have to get a different thermostat housing...

where is that hose going?
if you need that hose, I would just take coolant from the line that's supposed to go to the turbo. and block off where it used to be.
