stuck in reverse
Hey, I was coming home form a drive yesterday, was parking the car and it got stuck in reverse. I backed up, then put ti back into first and it stalled, so i did it 3 more times to the same effect. So i put it into neutral and the car started moving backwards. ANy ideas what this could be? linkage, tranny?

I might be able to snap some photos on a spare transmission if you need them.

Here's a pic:
This is the general location of the hole you will need to enter (reverse sensor).
The other is a fuzzy close up of inside the hole. Basicaly you need to jam something in there, pry on it, and you will feel/hear the rod move. After that it should be good until it happens again.
Feel free to hit me up for any help. If you lived closer i would show you how to do it on my spare tranny. If you have a spare i highly sugest you practice on that first to see how it works. Any who....good luck!

Not a problem....its a simple procedure with the transmission out of the car. Its much more difficult with its still in the car because there is little to zero room between the tranny and the tunnel. Worst comes to worse, drop the tranny, take maybe 30 seconds to slide the bar, then re-install.
