Stuck CAS

Hey guys. I'm in the process of rebuilding my 13b as we speak. I have the front cover off, and my CAS has been stuck in place for a while. I want to get it out while I have the chance to. I've tried hitting the gear end with a rubber mallet (not too hard). I don't want to damage it at all. Anybody ever have this problem? It is totally frozen, won't rotate or wiggle whatsoever.

Theres a rubber o-ring. Spray with carb cleaner or penetrating oil and let it sit for a few minutes then start turning it back and forth. Don't hit it with anything.
