Strut break line

I am taking my struts out of my car and I cannot get the breakline loose. I took the little clip out but it wont wiggle loose...any suggestions?

if your still stuck then god help you, but.... you need to pull the line forward up and then out. its tricky but it will come out.

its useless, chop it and redo the whole line.

the bracket where the line clips into in 2 thin pinch welded peaces of metal, over time the distance expands due oxidation, that particular area is not coated with a rust inhibitor from the factory (in between the 2 pieces) so unless you either chop the bracket in 3 sections, to save the line or chop the top end of the brake line, and pull until destroyed u are fucked.

maybe a punch and pair of pliers also. its just rusted in.
