strut bat install

ok, when u install a strut bar, do u take out the stock bolts and put the bar under, or put new bolts over them?

You take the nuts off, put the bar on and then put the nuts on over the plate that bar hooks to. Some people have told me that it is best to raise the car slightly off the ground when doing this to make sure there is no stress on the towers when you install the bar. When you lower it back down the bar now takes some of the load from the shock towers.

yes pre-loading the bar is best. and it isn't bolts it is nuts and you use the stock ones.
