stress releaving

has anyone cryofreezed there rotary. I wanted to ask before I send mine out. If so did you also have to remachine the iron surfaces and rotors?

its a stress relive the block and i did it on my honda engine and i wanted to know if anyone has done it with a rotary block and if so would i have to remachine the surfaces

Cryo treated apex seals have been done before. Don't know about other engine parts though.

i wanted to relieve the rotors and e shaft mainly because they are the parts that are gonna see the most heat.

Are you referring to doing the entire engine?
I do not recall if Kryo treating aluminum has the same effects as treating steel.
Atkins Rotary has kryo treated engine parts available. Mostly seals.
I had a few parts done by a local diesel shop the were able to do my e-shaft, stationary gears and counterweights for not to much. Might be something to look into.

I plan on checking the runout and having the rotating assembly balanced prior to assembly.
