AZ streetport, pass emissions?

hey guys.
i live in phx, az and have a 1990 GXL n/a. its needs a rebuild, but if i have it street ported the same time, will i still pass emmissions.
does anyone live in az and know anything about this?

sorry for double posting.

its stock with just different mufflers. and i will probly keep it that way, maybe a catback y-pipe

Depends on how the street-port is done. Generally you don't want to touch the exhaust ports. If you're on a stock ecu it should fly through with a small streetport..

good to know, so just do a small streetport and nothing to the exhaust ports? right?
