strange shift into 5th

when i shift into 5 th at anything above 2 grand, it kinda grinds for a nanosecond
i dont wanna believe its the sync, so maybe its an easily fixable problem that can be fixed for around 10 bucks

Sounds like you synchro is going bad. You can try some Redline MT-90, maybe that'll help. If not, you gotta yank the tranny and replace the synchros.

Changing tranny fuild isn't all that hard. Pull drain plug until all the fluid is out, replace plug and fill with new fluid.

lol i meant the sync replacement
yeah one of the hardest things you can do to yo car is replace the trans flluid

Try the MT-90, it has helped a lot of ppl including myself. I had the usual "2nd gear grind" until I swapped in some redline.
