Strange issue when Breaking

I have noticed this problem appearing suddenly and I wanted to get everyones take on it. This problem just started happening, when ever I break, it feels almost like there is a flat spot on my tires, Like if I had locked them up and the traed was only removed from that part. I jacked the car up and looked for any flat spots on the tires. There were none so now im really stumped. Any ideas? Tried searhing but didn't find anything.

What does it do? Does it shake like hell under braking? That sounds like the rotors need to be turned down. They're probably not "warped." It's most likely uneven residue from the brake pads. I read that in a "Myths of the Braking System" page.

i've acutally had a similar feeling that happened almost constantly while driving at slower speeds. did you check all your tires? i had a chunk of one of mine messed up and changing the tire fixed the problem.

It has to be brakes if it only occurs when braking. Check the rotors. Get them machined if necessary.

hmm I'll check the rotors, maybe I can get some spiffy new ones. Well I don't know if this counts when I got my breaks changed they said the rears were down to the metal. They didn't mention warped rotors but who knows. I'll check that out, cause its getting really annoying lol

heh, I don't know anything about breaks or suspension. I know about most of the mechanical stuff except for those two things. Oh well I'll get the rotors checked, and if need be get new ones.

Also, it's spelled "Brakes". It sounds to me like your rotors might be warped, or your bearings are bad, as someone already said.

As everyone is saying, it's probably the rotors. You should be able to feel a slight pulsation in the pedal. As you're moving along at a slow speed, let's say 25/30, just pull up on the emergency brake, very slowly while holding the button in. If it's the rear rotors, you'll feel the thumping. If nothing noticed, it's the front.
