Straigt pipes?

Does it harm the motor if you run straight pipe? And how do you disconnect the air pump? What do you do with the pipe that runs from the Cat?

Yeah, I know that it would fail emissions, but I have a buddy that does exhaust work, I was gonna have him make a straight pipe and then keep the Cat/Precat for when I need to recertify. The question I have is, what do you do with the air pump? Are there things I need to cap off? Aything special I should know before I try this?

just take off the airpump belt and you dont have to block anything but that may only be for an 89-91.
