Exclamation Straight Pipe Fc

How many of you run straight pipes on your Fc's, I am debating on whether to go that route but I want more feedback. I plan on runnin one from the turbo back so any input is welcome & appreciated, thank you.
I also plan on an s366, 1000/2000 on my t2

Straight pipe turbo back?! Your nuts to do this on a street car. Cops will be all over you. At least include a resonator and muffler.

its not that bad it would be all too loud. i ran a blitz nur spec A (full race) with a straight pipe on a NA and it was really loud. but i seen the same set up on a turbo fc and it wasnt as loud. TRUST lol

My car with stock turbo and 3" all the way back to just a single apex muffler was really loud. I'm glad my new setup includes a resonator and muffler (and I'll get a silencer insert) so I can hopefully be on light throttle past a cop.

Some people have different opinions of what loud is. The only thing I find loud are harley's with exhausts. Those are ******* loud and somehow legal.

Depends on what you're using the car for, and turbo are not as loud compared to the N/A because the exhaust passes through the turbine instead of going straight out.

Turbo exhaust tends to sound muffled, it would be a deeper rumbling sound compared to a higher tone the N/A does.

For best flowing exhaust, several factors would come in place - #1 question is are you getting the exhaust custom build? Or are you going to piece together the downpipe, race pipe/presilencer, cat-back exhaust from aftermarket brands?

For custom build, just make sure the shop does mandrel bending, and they use thick stainless steel to construct the exhaust. (correct me if I'm wrong)

For highest flow aftermarket brands, you should look into Apexi, the GT-Spec has the biggest diameter pipe I know so far, the new N1 evolution is fairly similar but I believe the diameter is not as big.

If your only looking to be loud, just take everything off and let it dump out of the downpipe..

But if you're looking for performance, look into racing beat, corksport, apexi, etc.. good reputable brands, with proven power gains.

But if you're trying to cheap out(like my exhaust) at least buy a rb muffler, and have the rest of the piping fabricated. That is what I run, and it isn't very loud, sounds dope, and is practical..
