Stock radio not working, Connections ?
I would be posting this tommorow when i have more info, but apparently the forum will be down. Accoriding the owner, it picks up stations, look like its working etc, but you hear nothing. Could this be simply something like a Fuse or bad connections ?
Any suggestions on what to check ?

my 87 had the same problem, and it turned out that the factory amps were fried, all I did was bypass the amps and reconnect the speaker wires to the speakers(works fine because I have an aftermarket radio anyway, It took us a while to figure out why the factory unit wouldn't play, just bypass the amps if they're there, at least then you'll know if they are the problem

Well what happens is you can hear it barely if you turn it up as loud as it will go.

the factory amps are located in the speaker wells in the back of the car, and next to the right front speaker. you fing which wires give the signal, cut them, and splice in speaker wire which you then re-attach to the speakers.
