Stock radiators double pass???

After looking for an aftermarket radiator, I've been torn with which way to go, double pass or single. Looking at some drag racing sites and such, they say that it requires about 33% MORE water flow than with a single pass for proper operation. The size I'm going with is 16"x27.5" and 3" thick. I can get this in either configuration for under $250.00(summit, howe radiator). I also know that K2RD's radiator is double pass and I would seriously doubt that they would sell something that didn't work very well. Which really brings up my question. Which style to go with? Also, is the stock radiator a double pass??? The inlet and outlet are on the same side and the only way I could see that working correctly would be to double pass it.
