Stock oil pressure gauge.
The last three FC's I've had had dead oil pressure gauges, one of which worked fine and just stopped after a while, is it the gauge cluster itself or a sensor or some sort? Is this a common issue?

No pressure I would be saying bad sender.
Low pressure, I would be saying E-shaft thermo valve
Normal or a little low pressure, dropping with RPM, I would say leaking front o-ring

Mine does this too (but my car has a blown motor), not sure if its just not building oil pressure because of that or what. Another thing to tackle when the new motor gets here.

Haven't we ALL heard this
Just turn on the igntion. Put a friend in the drivers seat. Then ground the connector that runs to the pressure sending unit. Ground breifly. your friends should notice the gauge peg. If it pegs your cluster.....is not....clustered
It would probally be the sending unit.

Well, if your gauge pegs it would lead me to believe your sensor wire is grounding out somewhere. That sounds like fun. If you cant find the short might just need to run a new wire.
