stock exhaust manifold
when i pulled the exhaust minifold off my 87 NA i noticed i small tube going away from the block right below the port for the rear rotor, and there was a hole in the block that connecoted to it. anyone know what it is for? im guessing something to do with emisions.

That tube wich connects to the hole in the housing runs up and through to the intake manifold flange. It goes from that flange, into the intake manifold to the air controll valve. The valve controlls when and how much air flows through that channell to the exhaust.
kinda right, it actually pipes into the front rotor hosuing, makes its way to the intermediate housing, then egr. Also provides positive pressure for the air pump shitola on the LIM.
