Stock ECU/Harness Removal

I installed a microtech lt10c for my fc, and basically i have the stock harness and ecu for the omp (S5) but I dont think the omp is functioning as it is the only thing plugged to the ecu, Ill just premix. The thing is I want to remove that ugly harness out of the car, can i just remove everything from the EFI harness? I know that the coolant sender guage wire is in that harness... anything besides that wire? Wipers? The car is a S5 Turbo2 thanks

The wipers and cruise control wiring does hitch a ride on the S5T2 engine/emission harness. As for gauges, the wiring for the dash boost gauge (MAP sensor) is also in that harness. Get yourself an S5 factory wiring diagram, there's links to downloadable copies in the FAQ.

yes, as above, wipers, cruise control, water temp, and the boost gauge if you're still using it. the wiper/cruise (and map actually), are easy. i de-pin the connector, then fish the wires out of the harness, and re-pin the connector, and you're done. for the coolant temp, i would just run a new wire
