1989 Mazda RX-7 GTU

I was wondering if it is a good idea to turbo my GTU RX7? If so, are there any recommendations for which turbo setup I should get? Or is it better to just engine swap?

It's better to leave the car as is and savor it for it's inherent goodness.
If you want a turbo car, buy a turbo car.

I agree with the above. And be sure to search the forum as this question has been asked a lot. Plenty of info on it.

Also please title your threads referencing the question you wish to ask. I was on the path to delete one of your threads thinking you made a duplicate thread.

Ohhh my bad, I’ll put the question on the title thread from now on. I’m new to using forums. Your Right I should just leave the engine stock and drive it as a daily.

Adding boost to a stock high compression S5 engine is not a good idea. You can quickly find that your engine cannot handle the boost and you will likely ruin the engine. It's better to buy a turbo engine or have an engine built to handle boost that to turbo a non turbo engine. The TII engines have lower compression and are built to handle a mild amount of boost pressure.
