still not running

ok (s4 n/a) i can crank the car and warm it up for a bit... after that it will hold an idle on its own... i replaced the fuel filter today hoping it would help but it just got worse for some reason... i drive the car and if i give it any more than a touch of gas it just goes limp and has NO power.. i let off of the gas it slightly reves up goes back down to idle or sometimes just stalls out.... i drove the car to work nice and easy but after swapping the fuel filter out it wont make it back home now.... i did the TB mod and have had a hell of a time getting it to ******* run again due to that and several other things that went wrong with it in the past month (spark crap)... i can rev the car in N but it backfires and goes dead around 3k rpm's and sometimes way sooner than that.... does this sound like a bad TPS? how much are they? thanks in advance

That sort of sounds like the problem I am having rigth now. Does it backfire opun engine deceleration? And lacks power?

Have you checked the resistance of your TPS? it should be 1k ohms +- 100 ohms at idle and 5k ohms +- 1k ohms at WOT.

I just bought a New OEM TPS and it has done aboslutly nothing so far, the only thing that the enw TPS has helped is my idle AFRS it WAS 11.8:1 now it is 12.5:1. Other than that it was a waste of $188 (from mazdatrix).

ouch no i have not tested my TPS yet.... i dont think its bad because nothing was wrong with the car before the TB mod... it sounds as if the car is getting too much fuel and not enough air... how do i adjust all the screws to spec on the TB? anybody know?
