No brakes

Yesterday i noticed the brakes being really soft, i knew i had a problem and was heading to autozone anyway. by the time i got there i had to put my foot all the way to the floor and downshift to stop..asked inside and they said it is prolly a master cylinder, so i replaced it and the pads...pedal is still way soft not much change...any ideas?

One of my rear calipers had a seal go out and it would relieve the pressure in the system slowly. Took a little while to get the pedal all the way to the floor.

Being that it is nice out now, go to a car wash and spray each tire/wheel very well and watch for the red fluid to come out of the wheel, should be soaked on the inside if a caliper is bad.

Otherwise, you already replaced a master cylinder, rules that out.

Maybe a split brake line?

Check these after you re-bleed the system though. That is the most likely.

maybe the brake booster might be going out, happened to mine, but it made the brakes really hard to push down on them

Basic brake troubleshooting:
Soft feel - air in the system.
Hard feel - booster or vac check valve problem.
Sinking pedal - master cylinder problem.
