Angry Still Broken!

My car suddenly overnight developed the problem of not being able to go above 2k rpms. It revs up a bit then stutters and goes back down. I posted a thread earlier and had thought the problem was fixed after I put in a new fuel filter. But just after I started it today everything seemed great till I tried to take it around the block when the problem started all over again! I had to limp home getting the rpms up as much as I could and coasting again and again till I made it back to the house. Now there is some water in the tailpipes and white smoke. However the smoke doesn't smell sweet like antifreeze. I don't seem to be losing any antifreeze from the jug in front. It smells like normal exhaust if anything it has a bit of a gassy smell to it. The engine also has kind of a ticking noise now also.
What should I try now? really starting to hate this car I only got to drive it about 300 miles after buying it and now this. at first it ran awesome lots of power and everything. Even just now going around the block at first when it was running fine it had lots of power. Please help!!

p.s. also should mention that it has no problem starting and idles perfectly fine. 86 gxl na s4 ( I also noticed that when I try to rev the engine I don't see any oil moving in the lines to omp should I?)

hmmm... Yeah I think so, thats why I thought the new fuel filter had fixed it. I let it warm up a bit and got about halfway around the block and bam. You know what it is??! I'm guessing its bad news....

Compression check results- 3 even jumps per revolution for both front and rear. 85 on the front and 90 on the back.

Today when I started the car get the operating temp. up for the compression check there was just a touch of smoke right at first and then none whatsoever even with reving the engine. It was running beautifully till I once again tried to take it around the block and the problem happened again. Any ideas anyone?! Engine seems healthy?

Same thing is happening to mine, except mine is a hard start and smoke comes from the #2 rotor, and my car is carrbed, but it idles fine when it's just sitting but once i take it down the block it just dies, right once i put the clutch in.....someone help us, cause this makes me wish they make trash cans just made for rx-7's cause so far it's a piece of crap......it was fast as hell and then all of a sudden bam!

Does anyone know what could be kicking in at operating temp that kills my engines ability to rev up above 1500-2k? Or what is supposed to be kicking in that isn't? Going to check timing today.

if you are not sure that the omp is working put about 1 oz per gallon of two cycle engine oil in with the gas ..called premixing..it will assure you that just in case the oil injection is Not working that you will still have the lube from premixing...it's safe and puts your mind at ease..mix the oil in a container with the gas before you dump it in the tank ..that way it mixes in the tank a little better and will guarantee that any "clots" of oil won't gum up your fuels system..
