Just wondering, I have a good deck from a 91, and a bad power supply. My friend has a 88 deck with a bad cd player, I was wondering if anyone knows if they are interchangable (same power supply)?

I'm pretty sure the wiring harnesses in the 89+ are different from the 86-88s. So you'd need to go buy the proper harness adapter.

I was talking about the external power thingy that plugs into the back. Both the decks are pioneers, just wondering if anyone's been to a junkyard to get a stereo or something .

Speaker and Power Harnesses are not compatible, however amp harnesses are.
