im doing the 5 speed swap in my 87 base rx7. when i changed my pedal assembly out and i put my stearing colum back on and it isnt stright on. the stearing wheel looks likr im turning when im driving stright. its really annoying. i need to know if i can strighten up my stering wheel w/ out taking the colum out again. thanks for any input

 

like can i jack up the front of the car so the tires are suspended and then disconnect it fron the boot in the engine bay. then turn it from the boot till it lines up stright then put it back together.
