Steering Swap

I want to swap my S4 power steering with the manual rack of a S5. The basic swap is pretty easy but both cars have a/c.... does the S5 a/c condensor fit on the S4 a/c and power steering bracket?

there are 2 types of a/c compressors, one is bolted by 4 bolts to bracket, other is bolted by 3 bolts to bracket....

bracket for a/c + PS i have seen was always same, only difference between a/c compressor mountings were holes..... when looking at bracket, u see 2 holes closer to front from which only one does have threads.......if u want to use other type of compressor, u have to make threads where is only pre-drilled hole.....after that, it fits fine....

Thanks Higgi

I will have to have a closer look to see which is which. Did all S5 cars come with a different condensor. Or is it that cars with power steering have a different condensor than those with a manual rack regardless of the series of car?.
