stealth intake... ;)

look into my engine bay... nothing special ^^

but wait...
wtf is this???

and whats under the left fender????

let's check out whats hiding under the complete stock intake box

and how the **** does this fit???
aaaaaaah... just threw out your AFM and drive with an map sensor... and then cut off the flange for the AFM from the stock intake box

3" intake pipe fits PERFECT

understatement pur... i will paint the intake pipes flat black...
i will also route my 2,5" FMIC piping hidden from cops eyes made out of black plastic-pipes

tell me what you think

Get a filter on that intake pipe before you suck up a bird or small rodent.

are you doing this to convince cops that its stock or to convince people in races? either way, i suggest you get a heatsheild to hide the turbo even more, and painting pipes black goes a long way to hide them. it is a pretty tricky set up though.

Thumbs up I like it!!!

I like the look of the big MAZDA air box lid, plus the benefit of 3 inch cold air intake from underneath. I wish I thought of that!!

main reason is because we have very very very strict laws... its IMPOSSIBLE to drive legaly with an open intake here... :/

heatshield is on the list..also to hide the 3" downpipe and stock + wideband lambda

Hey, good job... I like your Greddy water thermo sensor relocator. I got the same thing. I put mine a bit lower, more toward the radiator. Do you still get good temperature readings where you have it?

I'm a noob, but I didn't think it would run w/o the AFM. Looks sweet though.

Do you have the engine braced so that it doesn't rock back and forth?
If not, that pipe is going to rub against the sheet metal, and it's going to get shredded from the engine movement.

I'll be the first to say it but it's under the right fender not the left one lol. Killer setup though.

Pretty cool! now to find a way to do it without removing your washer fluid.

???

Your doing it to hide stuff from the cops? I cai is illegal?

i don't think that the water is changing its temp significantly into 10cm of rubber hose
also the upper radiator hose isnt the best place anyway

i'm running a standalone... (Apexi Power FC)

of course this mod WILL NOT WORK on the stock ECU... because of the need of the AFM

that's a very good point, i also have thought about that...
but first i will try it out as it is...
if it's a problen, i will get a coupler like this: http://www.sandtler.de/katalogangebo...r/humphose.jpg
should eliminate that problem

if it's useless for u nobody forced you do do that...

yes, it's illegal ove here like i've wrote... every change on the stock car is illegal, except you have papers for it (TÜV) and drive to an authorizised place... they check your COMPLETE car, and if the papers are alright you get the mods printed out with the VIN number etc. from your car.... now its legall... oh, did i mentioned that you have to pay for that? about 300€ (~390USD) everytime you visit that asses...
but there are much mods that you can't make legal... like a CAI, standalone ECU, another Turbo, catless exhaust (strict emission laws), adding more power that's about 20% more than on the stock car, minimum car height from the street to the first "hard" part off the car (like the exhaust) is 11cm...
i hate my country ^^
