Hey all I've got a 88 t2 and im having some problems with it. Its been sitting in the garage for a while now (round 2 months) and hasnt been started,yesterday i installed a new stereo into it and after that i went to crank it over just to let it sit and idle for abit and it starts going crazy its revs up to just under 3 grand and then slow drops to 1 grand then dies.All hoses in the engine bay seem to be connected...i dissconnected the air flow box and the car bearly started up so its alright on that...next i was thinking the TPS but i couldnt seem to find nething about adjusting it in my manual for the 7...ne one got ne ideas on what could be causes this problem? and no its not fuel :p i have enough fuel in the car
