aight i have an 87 FC and when i start it for like the first couple of times it starts and runs just fine kinda hesitates alil though then after that it wont start for a few hours doesn't smoke at all no loud noises or anything just really need some help of what to start with thanx guys

 

compression test and coolant seal test before anything else.

this is just to find out the condition of your engine. my coolant seals went out and thats what caused my "flooding problem" and "poor fuel quality" issues. so if these tests come out with positive results then proceed to the next basic things such as air, fire, and fuel. make sure the engine is getting all three of those and just go from there.
