NY starting swap this weekend need help!!!

I have the complete 13b-re engine, coils full wiring harness, fuses etc. Just as it would be in the cosmo... is there anyway that I can trick the cosmo ecu to think that the transmission is a manual and not an automatic??? can I send it out to be programmed?? if I use a haltech can I retain the use of the stock twins (until I upgrade to single) in sequential mode and use the coils that it came with?? Thanks guys!!!

The price for the E6X is average. You would do better to ask further questions in the Haltech section regarding that. You can use the stock map sensor if you do not intend to run too much boost (you will have to modify the Haltech harness).

With effort and creative coding, I have heard of people getting a semi-seamless twin operation with a Haltech (I think is was an E8 though).

You will need to study the operation of each of the three actuators on the exhaust side of the twins, I don't remember if the compressor blocking door is electronically controlled or not.

I have seen a writeup somewhere (I can't find it for some reason) of someone using various boost controllers to cause the twins to operate seamlessly.

Spark Notes: How hard are you willing to try?
