Starting protorypes today......
Wooo Hooo! I am starting or started about an hour ago. I am just doing the basics right now like figuring our how large to make things and how to shape them. I hope I can get some film for my cam so I can show you guys and get you all and start wanting to buy my parts.
Today I am doing a single guage pod for a 52mm guage and the S-AFC holder that replaces the ash tray For now I won't be doing CF because that is hella $$$ but it is no different than Fiberglass cept for the look and strength/weight advantages.
One question though: Do you guys want the S-AFC to be visible all the time or I can make a lid that lifts up and hides away nicely. I will make my final descission based on your replies so let your opinion be heard.

I will be interested in buying a S-AFC holder/ash tray replacement. I think it would be nice if there was a cover to it, that way there would be less chance of it getting stolen.
How much are you going to be looking to sell these at?

Definately a lid to cover it...maybe you could make a lid that's detatchable for those who like to have their things visible. I'd rather hide it though if not .

Well I am not sure on the pricing but I would say 45 or 50 is a good starting price. (just a guess though)
If you all want CF it will cost more. That is for fiberglass.
Yeah I need to find some tiny rails to set up what I want for the lid.

How about a slider that went up santiago? With the lid being curved i think it should blend in decently with the curve of the stereo surround. I dont know if you've ever seen any of those coffee tables with the lids that lift up and pull back, because thats where i got the idea from .
