Starting problems

The reason for this thread is for technical help on an Rx7 '91 model. To all that read this thank you and any suggestions more thanks.
I can not start the car. It will turn over. The fan will move... I can't tell you much more about what's going on under the hood because welll, I can't tell you anythinga else about what I see as for I have nobody to look under there or turn the car over for me while I look. Here's my problem....
I try to start the car... I get *turnover* but no *start*. It just won't *fire*. I'm lost. Thanks for any help!

It's probably flooded. Go here: http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n...nflooding.html

That may be it but not sure so I will add a few details to what I hear when I try to start it. Not sure if this makes a difference or not in the *flooding* theory; thanks for the theory though btw, did not know Rx7's had a problem with that.
When I also try to start the car... I get a whining noise. An example of the noise is ... imagine the car turning over, without starting...t here ya go. Hopefully that helps ..
