Unhappy Starting problems

Hello all....i need some info on what u rx7 owners think might be my problem....i just got the rx7 a few weeks ago it run perfect....thats once its started...lol it was converted to a push button start(like the s2000 but more ghetto) and well i drove it around came home and try start it and it wouldnt turn over the battery u could tell was pretty much dead.....so i go get a new battery next day after driving it for a few days it does same thing....im not sure whats draining the battery....but everytime i drive somewhere i have to use jumper cables to leave the place lol.....
also as a new rx7 owner id liek to know if what upgrades would be best for now....like r the s5 taillights worth it and any engine components i should get to make this beast rape even harder =] well plz lmk
