i have an 86 gxl. i bought this car from some people who drove it every day, but it had a ton of things wrong with it. when i started it before, it used to go to a high idle, which seems common from what i read on here. i know that mite be a bad tps or whatever, but here is the problem im having now. my little bro went and bought new plugs for the car and they gave him 4 trailing plugs. on top of that, he bought new wires. he put the 4 trailing plugs in but i caught it and got the leading plugs for the bottom. however, now the car just wont start .. turns over fine. always started before and i wanted to fix the high idle prob., but now im just tryin to get it to start again. lol. workin backwards here. and just so i know he didnt put the wires back on wrong, which coils go to which plugs? any clues on why it wont start?? btw, when its turnin over, everyone once in a while, it will have a slight stall in the cranking (if that makes sense).. thanks.
