i drove my car to the store came back out car didnt wanna start....made a llrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound. battery is new and there is power. and when i keep starting it for a long time then it will start can this be the starter?

 

is it turning over and not firing?or is it not turning over?do you smell gas when this happens?

 

no gas smell, and it turns over or a sec then dies, but if i keep tryin it will start i think my starter is fried!

 

that sounds like it,or your alt/batt
