Starting Issues Help Please

Hey guys I got a few Problems.

It all started a few days ago... haha

I have been tearing down the front end so i can get my new body kit on.

The Car hasnt ran in a few days so I decided to Start it up and let it run.
I reconnected the battery and The car Did not start.. So I jumped the battery and it started right up no problems. I let my 7 run for about 20 min then shut it off and restarted it to see if it would start. I walked away for about an hour or so and i came back and was going to move it back into the garage and it didnt start. I toke the battery and took it too Schucks Auto and Had them test it. The battery was dead and it was only a year old. so i got a new battery and installed it. I could get the car started but it didnt run right. the car would rev up to about 2-3k RPM than Die, It did this about 3 to 4 times and Now the car wont even crank.

I have no dash lights and I Think the batter needs to be charged again.

But what do you think could have caused this problem?
I dont know if it is my alternator, Distributerber?

Any Ideas would be great

Thanks

Did you play around with any wiring during the install?
