Starting issue in S4 N/A
This morning I went to move my car, and it wouldn't start. It had only been sitting for like 12 hours and it ran fine yesterday so it shouldn't be anything big. I am think 'crap it flooded' and I turn off my fuel pump switch, and I don't get what I usually get. I turn it back on and keep giving it gas and it eventually starts up, after a total of about 5 minutes of cranking. It ran fine ( I drove it 10 feet so I could get the GTi out) and I parked it, and got it my other car and left. I tried to start it back up later tonight to see if it would, and it just did the samething. So tomorrow I plan on trying to start it up, and if it starts I will drive it around to see what it does, and stay close to home. If it doesnt I'm gonna check my fuel filter, fuel lines, PD, and I'm not sure what else. I'm sorry for not having much info on what its doing, but I haven't given this issue much attention today. Tomorrow I will post what I find out.
I was just hoping you guys could give me a few ideas of what to check.
Thanks in advance,
David

The car has been running fine up untill this. I have been driving it daily for the past 2months and not had any trouble. So unless somehting happened to clog one or more of them overnight I doubt thats what has happened. I don't know.

OK there is a puddle of gas under my car from whenI was cranking it over, and I can smell gas pretty bad. I am thinking maybe my PD went out. I am going to check it out it tomorrow.
It sounds like its straining to get fuel, and ITs turning over just fine, so it either is not getting enough fuel, or its not getting enough spark.

Ok, correct me if Im wrong, but I am pretty sure the PD is on the pass side of the engine, and it appears to be juicing from the drivers side of the engine bay, so I am thinking iots not the PD and probably just a bad fuel line somewhere in the rats nest or something.
