I have a 88 Gxl 13B... and all it has intake and exhaust and it seriously takes at least 20-30 seconds of cranking time for it to start in the morning or any other random time when it sits for more then like 3 or 4 hours. and it also doesn't hold a idle when it is cold either. Then if i just shut it off and come back a few minutes later it take longer then it should normaly take to start a vehicle.

You can figure out why THE RAT said water thermo sensor by looking at the graph I'm attaching to this reply. You might just take a look at the rear of your water pump housing and see if the green, two wire plug is or is not connected to the sensor.
One thing to know, is that if the sensors plug falls off or one of the two wires is open, the ECU defaults the temperature to 176 degrees. If you look at the graph you will see that would make the mixture during a cold start leaner than if the sensor was reading the true temperature.
