Starter won't stop!

I've had a bad negative connector for a few weeks, so the car will momentarily loose power on bumps/sharp hard turns, just a preface to the problem I'm having. Today while on the way home, around a sharp curve, the car lost its power for a second before coming back, as soon as I pulled into my drive way I heard the starter spinning. Turned the car off, kept going. Had to yank the negative cable off. Now whenever I hook the battery up, the start immediate starts spinning. Any clues why this would happen besides the starter just going bad?

Perhaps either a bad starter solenoid or ignition switch.

It has a 2 year old reman starter on it, went ahead and ordered another to get here Friday. It will even spin with the keys out of the ignition, tried starting the car up and all lights come on but doesn't start. Hoping it's the solenoid, starter replacement on these cars is simple.

Most auto parts stores will test your starter usually for free.
