Question Starter Rebuild?

Has anyone ever tried to do a Starter motor rebuild on their RX-7.
If so, was it difficult or expensive.

I don't think many people bother with rebuilding a starter motor anymore. You can get a reman one at the parts store for not a whole lot, and if you need a working starter, you can usually get one for $20-$25 shipped from the "parts for sale" section.

Very possible to rebuild the starter motor, cost me 24$CND for the brushes and just regreased the bearing and painted and polished made her pretty again and regreased everything for a almost brand new starter.
