Starter question

Looking at a used starter. I can I tell if it is for a 5-speed or auto, turbo or NA? Is there a difference?

Sticker on start is N318. Appears to be a mitsubishi start M1T7. If it helps, the switch thing is mounted directly on top, with the open gears being on the opposite side.

TIA

N318 is Turbo 5-speed.
N326 is N/A 5 speed.
N327 is auto.

Your description matches for a Turbo starter. Hope this helps.

So I no longer have the sticker on my stater; I do have some imprinted numbers on the front of my starter, does anyone know if these number identify the type?

My old factory starter has these numbers:

M1T7 0881
12V 6523

My new Reman says:

M1T7 0881
12V 6Y20

I have a 88 Turbo to and I am just trying to figure out if I have the wrong starter.
