Standalone Q?

I have searched and yeilded no precise answer to my question. If you upgrade a S4 turbo to a standalone ecu can you get rid of the AFM? If so how does that work? I just purchased a blown Turbo and coming from an N/A I am Turbo retarded. Thanks a lot!

BTW: expect more q's. ahahha

The AFM goes away cause the standalone will use a MAP sensor, similar to what the FD's use.
