Stalls at idle when warm
I am having problems with my Naturally Aspirated '87 at idle. When the engine is cold it seems to idle fine, however after it warms up it has problems.
Pulling up to a stop (doesn't matter if car is in gear, clutch engaged, A/C on, etc) the engine starts to idle erratically. The RPMs drop to about 300 or so, then it picks up to about 1100 RPM and then immediately drops to 300 or so, then back up to 1100, and then back down and stalls.
Any ideas on to what is causing this stall?
Thanks,
-john

First suggestion is to check for vacuum leaks. If none are found, then check the TPS adjustment. If that is ok, check the idle mixture adjustment. If that is ok, check the BAC valve.

Thanks for the reply Irv! Last night I adjusted the TPS from 890 ohms to 1kohm and that seemed to fix the problem. I had first checked for vacum leaks and couldn't find any. After the TPS adjustment I checked the BAC and it was good. SO it seems that the TPS was the problem.
